Corridor Clearing and Blazing, Two Harbors Area

September 28 @ 8:30 am - September 29 @ 3:30 pm

Have you been whacked in the face or tripped up by low-hanging branches while hiking the SHT? Here’s your chance to clear the trail corridor of woody brush using hand tools and to mark the trail you’ve cleared with fresh blazes. Join experienced volunteer crew leaders Nicole Halgrimson and Denny Caneff to clean up brush and add new blazes on the Trail. No experience necessary! All tools and training will be provided by SHTA. Expect to hike up to 3 miles round trip to the work site. Free car camping provided, details emailed shortly before the event.

Youth ages 12-17 are welcome if they are accompanied by a parent or guardian.

A trailhead near Two Harbors will be determined this summer and registrants will be updated by email.

If this is your first event with us, please watch our Volunteer Safety Video.
