People, Nature, Footpath Webinar Series

Each year, we host this educational webinar series to help Trail users gain new skills, meet amazing adventurers, and learn about the natural history and ecology of the North Shore.

The webinars are free to attend; a $25 donation is requested to help support the Trail and cover the cost of producing the series. Registration is required, and attendees will need to sign up for a free Zoom account.

with Kathy Oaks, author, educator, and photographer

Saturday, April 20th, 10-11 a.m.

Take great photos of the Superior Hiking Trail, and wherever you hike. The Trail is famous for its beautiful landscape, whether you want to see sweeping views of Lake Superior or the tiny mushrooms that grow in abundance in the northwoods. Join Kathy Oaks, author, educator, and photographer, for this online class for kids on how to best capture the beauty of the Trail in pictures. We’ll also provide a photo scavenger hunt for attendees to practice the skills they learn in class while out on the SHT!
