Guided Hike: Ely’s Peak and the Magney-Snively Old Growth Forest

See almost two billion years of the earth’s history from one overlook. Explore the role of fallen leaves in our northern forests and how animals prepare for winter. Learn about birds who leave for the winter and those who stay. Master Naturalists will give short presentations at several stops along the way and answer your questions.
This moderate hike is 6 miles round trip with less than 1000 feet of elevation change.

If multiple people wish to hike together, each participant must complete a separate registration. Youth ages 12-17 are welcome if they are accompanied by a parent or guardian.
