A Blue Blaze Blitz is coming to a trail section near you — join the Superior Hiking Trail Association’s effort to re-blaze the Trail!

Many of the blue and white blazes on the SHT have faded or gone with downed trees since they were originally painted back in 2006 & 2007 (read about the history of the SHT’s blazes here). It’s time to restore these blazes to their original glory and ensure trail users are able to find their way on the SHT.

Please click HERE TO REGISTER and let us know: which day you’re available to check-in and pick up supplies from our office in Two Harbors, which areas of the SHT you’d prefer to blaze, if you can blaze one or two days, and how many miles you think you can cover. Once you’ve submitted this completed form, we’ll follow up with more detailed instructions as we near the event.

SHTA will provide training, supplies (brushes, paint, templates, etc.), and directions to your assigned trailhead.
