SHTA Seeks New Executive Director

The Superior Hiking Trail Association (SHTA) is seeking a dynamic and experienced leader to serve as its new Executive Director. The SHTA is dedicated to constructing, maintaining, and promoting a world-class 300+ mile natural surface trail paralleling Lake Superior from Wisconsin to Ontario. The 5,000 plus member organization has a dedicated and capable staff, a passionate group of volunteers, and an active Board of Directors committed to the success of a new strategic plan.
General responsibilities for the new Executive Director include leading the organization in maintaining and improving the Trail as well as managing the organization’s marketing communications, fundraising, and financial management. Compensation is commensurate with experience and will include insurance, retirement savings plan, and paid time off.
