At the Superior Hiking Trail Association (SHTA), we believe that connecting to nature is an essential part of being human. Since 1986, we’ve worked to make that connection possible by building, maintaining, and protecting a world-class hiking trail along Minnesota’s North Shore.
For four decades, the Superior Hiking Trail has beckoned to us, inviting us to explore an unknown side of ourselves and connect with the transformative nature of the world around us.
