Volunteer – Trail Improvement in Duluth

Join SHTA’s trail renewal consultant Larry Sampson October 2 and 3 to improve the Trail in Duluth.
Work will take place on the SHT at Spirit Mountain, continuing the effort to rehabilitate the SHT west of the Grand Ave Chalet. The project will include structure work and trail hardening with gravel and rock. A group of students from College of St. Scholastica will also join the effort in the afternoon on the 2nd.
Bring water, a lunch, and gloves if you have them for each day — training, tools, and PPE will be provided if needed.
October 2: Meet at the Spirit Mountain Grand Ave Chalet at 9:30am. Work will finish up around 4:00pm.
October 3: Meet at the Spirit Mountain Grand Ave Chalet at Noon. Work will finish up around 3:00pm.
