Join the Brule-St. Croix Chapter of the North Country Trail Association and Superior Hiking Trail Association at the Grand Opening of the new State Line Trailhead on the North Country Trail, as well as a new trail segment of the NCT.

This event will feature morning refreshments, speakers, a ribbon cutting, and guided hikes of varying lengths (shuttles provided).

Located just one mile south of the southern terminus of the Superior Hiking Trail, the State Line Trailhead the North Country Trail enables a more smooth connection between the Superior Hiking Trail and NCT in Wisconsin.

The Superior Hiking Trail officially became part of the route the North Country Trail’s 4,800 miles route in 2019. This will be a great event to celebrate improved access to the beauty of the North Country, and learn more about the thousands of miles of trail stretching west and east from each SHT terminus on the NCT.
