The Brewer Park Loop offers one of the most amazing views of the entire city of Duluth from Peace Ridge.
Bordered by two creeks and meandering through a city park, this 4-mile loop of the Superior Hiking Trail offers an incredible example of something Duluth is known for – wild spaces within city limits. It showcases impressive views of West Duluth and the St. Louis River from the ridgeline, and slips easily into a forest of maple and oak where one can find a variety of plants, critters, and natural features.
Master Naturalists will lead the hike and facilitate conversations about phenology, geology, and ecology, among others. After spending a few hours in the woods, you may wish to visit the nearby Lincoln Park craft district for a late lunch, local brew, and shopping. This easy to moderate hike is a 4-mile loop with 500 feet of elevation change.
