Help SHTA install 400′ of new puncheon (a structure similar to boardwalk), which will replace a dangerous and nonfunctional old puncheon. Volunteers will tear out old puncheon, cut decking, dig in sills, and fasten the new puncheon together. There will be minor tread work and brushing. Don’t let new words scare you away. This will be a fun construction project, and you’ll learn what a sill is if you didn’t already. No experience necessary! All tools and training will be provided by SHTA. Expect a very short walk to the project. Camping and dinners provided (details will be emailed before the event).
