Cascade River Loop Backpack Team Back by popular demand – a backpacking trail maintenance team! The crew will repair tread on the Cascade Loop that is too far to efficiently reach in a day trip. This is a strenuous trip that is open to volunteers with at least one day of trail maintenance experience. Previous backpacking experience required. You must commit to all three days, and you will need to provide all your own food and backpacking gear. In addition, you will carry 5-10 lbs of SHTA-provided tools to the site.
