Join SHTA and our many partners — the North Country Trail Association, Border Route Trail Association, National Park Service, and City of Duluth — or a formal program and ribbon cutting ceremony to celebrate the recent passage of the Arrowhead Reroute legislation that makes the SHT part of the North Country National Scenic Trail’s route in Minnesota.

The program will feature a combination of politicians who supported the legislation, trail organization leaders, business owners, and agency partners talking about what the Reroute means for northeastern Minnesota. After the formal remarks, we’ll do a ceremonial ribbon cutting recognizing the designation.

Because of limited parking at the Trailhead, please plan to park at Spirit Mountain Lodge’s main parking lot (map at https://goo.gl/maps/EZNtTWHPQcx) and a shuttle will be provided to the Trailhead starting at 11am.
