SHTA Board Developing New Strategic Plan
February 5, 2020
The Superior Hiking Trail Association’s Board of Directors is currently working to create a new strategic plan that will guide the work of the organization over the next three years.
The strategic plan will be developed using an iterative process to ensure comprehensive, thoughtful, and future-oriented results. Image courtesy of ICA*
The process involves the engagement of a diverse set of partners and stakeholders to help inform the goals and objectives that will be included in the plan. The SHTA as a whole is committed to continuously improving processes and operations that enable us to strengthen our collaborative effort to advocate and protect the Trail. Throughout the planning process, we will be reaching out to some of our partners, members, volunteers and donors for input and ideas.
Once developed, the strategic plan will be a roadmap that ensures our work is consistent with our values and is on track in the midst of continuous changes to the Trail and the many partners, users, and other factors that impact it. We look forward to implementing this plan to ensure the SHT remains a gem of a trail for decades to come.
