Drainage Maintenance – Cascade River Loop

September 21 @ 9:00 am - 4:30 pm

You can be a drainage hero! Join us as we do the work to keep water off the SHT so that the trail stays dray and mud-free. No experience necessary! All tools and training will be provided by SHTA. Expect to hike 2-6 miles while working.

Driving Directions to Lookout Mountain Trailhead: Follow Hwy 61 to Cascade River State Park (74 miles north of Two Harbors). Turn north (away from the lake) into the park and follow signs for the campground. Beyond the far end of the campground loop, you will find the Lookout Mountain Trailhead and a small parking area. Map Important: You need a State Park Pass to park in this trailhead.

Youth ages 12-17 are welcome if they are accompanied by a parent or guardian.

If this is your first event with us, please watch our Volunteer Safety Video.
